Linchpin SEO was started in Raleigh NC by two guys (Bill Ross and Dan Therrien) who were tired of seeing the large agencies passing over small businesses because they did not have the budget of large national brands. The small businesses were left with only a few choices such as buying a poorly designed website template through an online site that didn’t represent their business, trying to design one themselves, or paying a large agency to create a website (which wasted all the small businesses ad budget for the year).
